"Karnivulgar is an anonymous project. Founded in 2009, the project has had name changes such as Carnivorous Vulgaris then Karnivorus Vulgaris then Karnivorous Vulgaris before at least changed into Karnivulgar. Stone Age Records (ID) and Whatev Bev (US) are the ones that released the debut release. Also, Espace is the album to be a starting point of sound art journey of Karnivulgar.

Karnivulgar explores many of sounds then labeled as a track or (maybe) a musical thing. The project tends to be contemporary which makes most of the arrangements are made from the sounds living around and any results of playing music instrument in any unusual ways. Karnivulgar explores drone, dark ambient and emotive satire as the core value to produce sounds in most of the releases.

As thousands years of establishment, human is still trapped in unphysical things. Words, patterns, stigma, dogma, everything in thoughts become the cage in human’s life. They appear in politics, offices, art galleries and even at home. Human does not realise them from the start. They attack human since it born. Seems like human is born to be trapped (terjebak)."
